What’s your favourite seasonal ingredient?
Maple syrup and Fresh local Berries of any kind.
What’s your drink of choice?
Craft Beer, a good Cabernet Sauvignon, and coffee at our local Twiggs Coffee roaster.
What is your favorite meal to prepare that is uniquely North Bay?
Surrounding areas like Powassan are known for their Maple Syrup producers. Since our own farm is located in Powassan and we have an affinity for maple syrup, we love cooking up our heritage pastured pork with our special maple bbq sauce.
Why is Feast On important to you and your restaurant?
Feast ON has been an important vehicle for us to use to educate and inform our guests and our community that we are committed to supporting our local farmers and producers.

What does your ‘Perfect Weekend’ in North Bay look like?
Since we are in a deep freeze right now, a perfect Saturday would be enjoying our indoor farmers market in the morning, and then heading out on the ski hill for some fun on the slopes, followed by cozy dinner at The White Owl Bistro. After dinner we would rent a beautiful lakeside chalet next door at the Sunset Inn and head out on Lake Nipissing for some ice fishing on Sunday.
